• • Posters of the famous Norwegian artist and designer Harald Damsleth. The manifesto (Sunwheel Swastika) was printed in 1944. “Vår ære er troskap” recalls the Waffen-SS motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue”.
Damsleth did a number of outstanding Recruitment Posters for the Waffen-SS in Norway. He was imprisoned for several years after being tried for treason at the end of World War II. Nevertheless, he had a successful graphics art career. Harald Damsleth died in 1971.
